Terri Annette Brooks was born on February 4, 1966 to Ina and Jerome Alvin Brooks in Oakland,  California.  Early in life,  she and her sister, Sherri,  attended St.  Anthony's Catholic Church with their parents.  She wad baptized on March 20, 1977, and confirmed at age 12 at First Trinity Lutheran Church in Oakland, California.  

Terri graduated in 1985 from Fremont High School in Oakland.  Following High School,  she attended The Fashion Institute in Fremont, California.

Terri also had an interest in Law and continually took clases in that subject matter.  Around 2005,  Terri started her own business,  Elite 1 Entertainment.  Terri inpacted many lives.  She was most passionate in her work as the community liaison at the Black Repertory Theatre and Elite 1 Entertainment.  She also worked at the San Francisco Indian Welfare Agency.  She was very educated and administered history of artists and was a great activist, as well.

Terri departed this life leaving to cherish her memories six children:  Eduardo A. Brooks,  Christian A. Woolfolk,  Domonique A. Beverly,  Unique A. Taylor,  Jade A.  Hudson and Terry A. Hudson;  God Daughter:  Tierra L. C. Dow;  1 grand daughter:  Faith N.S. West,  2 grandsons:  Jayden Billings and Maurice P. Robinson;  Mother:  Rev.  Ina Rae Brooks;  "PAPA" B. Gordon Reese;  one sister:  Sherri Rae Brooks;  one niece:  Araela Rachel Richie, her dear friend Laqualla Pitts and 2 BEST FRIENDS:  Tamu Windbush and Nanette Bailey.  Terri also leaves a host of other family, friends and extended family.
