It is with great sadness that I let you know that Terri passed away Monday, March 7th at 4:19pm from heart failure. She was an incredible wife of 25 years, my best friend, and a wonderful mother to our two remarkable children, Kayson and Bronze. We have created this website to celebrate her life and invite you to participate and share memories as well. Here you can share stories or download photos, audios, or videos that capture her beautiful spirit and kind-hearted nature.
We thank you for all your love, prayers and support as we go through this most difficult time. She will be missed so much.

"In remembrance of Terri. I did not know Terri that well, but we were in her brother Marks wedding, to my cousin Debbie. She was such a beauty and very much loved. She has been in peace and no longer suffering. And though to us mortals this is so difficult to live with, just know that Terri is in a better place. Hugs and love to those closest to her heart."
"Gerry, Kayson and Bronze,
Joe and I were so lucky to have spent time with you all on several occasions. Our heart is hurting for you all. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Terri was a beautiful woman inside and out and we will miss her."
"Aunt Terri, you will always be loved, remembered, and celebrated. I will forever be in grateful of how special you made everyone around you feel, how cheerful and authentic you were, and how you loved my uncle and created two of the best people I know. We are broken to have lost you, but we are better to have known you."
"Dear Murai family and Gerry and Her children. This is a long lost friend who has lost touch and I am very sorry for that. I was just trying to get in touch and I found this memorial. Terri was a beautiful friend to me and always was there thru my illness. I am sorry for your loss and I just want to share some wonderful memories that I had. When she was in my wedding she was so supportive. Also we shared the same brides maids dresses. She could have any dresses that she wanted and she wanted the same ones that were in my wedding. They were Rasberry. I will have your family in my thoughts and I thank God for having her in my life. Sorry for your loss. Barbara Kanode Paul"
"Gerry, sorry for your loss pal. May God comfort you and your family."
"Dear Gerry, I just received word about your precious wife, Terri. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that God will comfort you as only He can. God bless you."
"Dear Gerry, Kayson and Bronze,
Bret and I were so very heartbroken to hear of Terri's passing. There are so many great memories of the beautiful and loving person she was. Terri you are no longer suffering and have entered into a place of peace and eternal happiness. We never want to lose our loved ones and there is no right time...just continue to treasure her memory and she will never leave your hearts. We know she is smiling down upon you all. We love you and send you many prayers! Bret and Lilly"
"We are overcome with sadness for your loss. Terri was always a delight to see at family gatherings. She had such a beautiful smile and perky personality. She will surely be missed and loved forever in our hearts.
Gerry, Kayson, Bronze and to the Murai Family, you can take comfort in knowing Terri is now in peace with Our Lord in Heaven.
Your memories of her will be encased in your minds and hearts forever.
We send our deepest sympathy and love to you all.
Tom and Becky"
"Noah said it best. After morning workouts, she would make sure Noah got any leftovers -- and that made him feel special. When in fact, she made everyone feel special. She genuinely cared. She was always there with a smile. Terri will be missed by all that knew her.
Margaret, Jon, Kyle & Noah Pendleton"
"Jim and I send our heartfelt blessings and sympathies to such a VERY special family. Terri's obvious beauty is not only reflected in per personal photos, but in the glowing tributes describing her lovely essence, as well. Terri's assignment in life was to bless and enrich the many lives of all who knew her. Her gifts will continue to trickle down to all those who lovingly remember her. With my love, Vicki Morris"
"May Terri find the warmth of Heaven just as wonderful as the love she shared with all those in her life on Earth. Our prayers and thoughts are with Gerry, Kayson, Bronze, George, Toshi, Mark, Craig and Keith during this time. Our family wishes we could do more to ease your sorrow. May you find peace and comfort with Christ.
Our love to you all,

"Gerry, Kayson, and Bronze,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I met Terri in 7th grade and loved her right away. I lived in Fountain Valley and met her through our mutual friend Paula Salituro Clunk. I have many fond memories of Terri. I remember her being so great at applying "Mary Kay" makeup and always looking so perfect! Later in high school ,after Terri moved to Corona del Mar, Jilly Van Hise Toll, Amy Costello Hogan, Paula, and I would have so much fun in Newport Beach. Then in our early 20's we lived near each other in Irvine. We loved going to California Beach and drinking saki and dancing at the Warehouse restaurant. She will be greatly missed! Sending Prayers to you.
Teresa and Edward Stepanow"
"Sending love to Gerry, Kayson and Bronze. I was lucky to have Terri as my sister-in-law, but luckier still to have her as a friend. She was smart, beautiful, compassionate, fun and sweet to everyone. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. Love, jan"
"Gerry and family, I have no words that can make any of the pain less; Terri was amazing and I cherish the time I spent with her when I bought her secretarial service. She became a dear friend and she will always have a very, very special place in my heart. John and I are here if we can help in any way. Much love and many prayers to all of you. Love Cindy"
"I just found out this morning, and I'm stunned and so, so saddened by the news of Terri's passing. What??! I just don't understand. We had just re-connected last fall, after y'all moved back from Atlanta, and now she's gone...?? I'm so sorry that I didn't do a better job of staying in touch while she was right here, and it's so hard to believe that this radiant, beautiful human being was taken from us so before her time. My heart goes out to you guys, Gerry, Kayson & Bronze; I can't imagine the pain y'all must be going thru, such a tremendous loss. Gerry, if there is anything we can do to help during this time, please do not hesitate to let us know. Rob and I are here for you."
"Gerry, Kayson and Bronze,
We are so sorry to hear of Terri's passing. She was a beautiful woman (inside and out). Her giving nature and warm smile will never be forgotten. Our prayers are with all of you. Please do not hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to help. Tammy, Eddie, JJ and Connor Meador xoxo"
"I was only privileged to meet Terri on one occasion and that was with Gerry. It was a joyful occasion with food and drink. She was a beautiful woman and even more beautiful person, that Gerry praised constantly. Goodbye, sweet lady. See you on the other other side. My church Men's group lifts up your surviving family in prayer. Keep the faith!"
"To the Martin family, Terri was such a dear friend to me and my kids with Kayson and Lucas being born on the same day making our bond even more special. Her smile and positive comments on everything in life separated her from the rest of the world. Heavens gain will be our loss for sure. She will be missed by so many but remembered by so many with bright smiles each time. Love to the all the family at this time."
"Terri, you were the brightest smile at every get together. The love you showered on family and friends was unconditional and never-ending. So many happy times. Thank you for the wonderful memories, I will treasure them forever. We will miss you, and love you always!
"Words cannot express the sorrow in all those that knew and loved Terri.
Today, Heaven received its newest angel. I think the only way we can begin to understand this tragic loss is to believe GOD wanted Terri in Heaven with HIM. We must realize that HIS desires are more important than our desires here on earth. May GOD BLESS you Gerry, Kason, Bronze and all the family. With love, Steve Wachsler"
"Dear Gerry, Kayson and Bronze,
You wife and Mother Terri was such an incredible lady. Needless to say my shock and broken heart the moment I read Gerry's message. Gerry was always a very best friend and made it possible to meet and love Terri. The times spent with Terri, and you guys was just special and you are like family. I will never forget I spent the night with you guys on Scott's couch the day before you moved back to California. As painful as it must be we can find peace in our minds and hearts knowing Terri is in a wonderful place now enjoying peace and happiness.
Love to you all,
Meade, Crystal, Daniel and Nicole"
"My heart goes out to the Martin family as well as Mrs. Martin. I wish you guys the best! If you need anything myself (as well as my family) is here for you 100% of the time. She was such an amazing woman and she will never be forgotten; she has impacted us all in such a positive manner. She is truly a blessing on this Earth!"
"I am so sorry. My heart is broken. I have no words to describe how I feel, and how I felt when my son told me the bad news. I am very sad. Although I didn’t get to know Terri very well, I met her when volunteering at the snack bar. I really liked her from Day #1. She was always nice to me, always smiling, always helping around, always in a good mood. When I first met her, the first thing that crossed my mind was "what a nice lady Bronze's Mom is". She will be missed. My son, Esteban, and I are available to help in any way possible, and we'll keep all of you in our prayers. May God bless you all. Rest in peace, Terri."
"I'm so very saddened to hear Terri has passed away. I can't imagine the sorrow your family must feel. She was such a beautiful person inside and out, and I'll never forget her infectious smile and fun-loving nature.
Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs.
"My heart is broken.
From the first day I met Terri she was my friend. She was always kind and happy to talk or spend time with me. I cherished our friendship.
I have faith that God has enthroned Terri in Paradise. She is in Heaven.
Gerry, Kayson and Bronze I give my promise I will always be there for you should you need me.
"Praying for a peace beyond all understanding. With deepest sympathy."
"To my beautiful daughter Terri. Knowing you are released from suffering and in peace in after life and in the arms of loving grandparents went before you somewhat eases my pain. Still, I feel numb, perhaps disbelief, you will always live deeply in my heart day and night.
When you were first born, I was so excited to see you and couldn't stop kissing you! I knew it was going to be fun to make clothes for you and I did! When you started school, I constantly made you new outfits and your teacher said, "Terri probably thinks coming to school on Monday is for wearing a new outfit!"
Of course I knew you were going to be pretty with that beautiful smile, but I didn't know how independent you were going to be! What a journey! You have made my life challenging but always filled with love and happiness.
One of my favorite memories is of you carrying around your little blue donkey, and your refusal to let me wash it, until FINALLY you consented to me giving "donkey" a bath. You constantly checked on donkey, waiting for him to be dry and when he was, you lovingly hugged him to your chest.
I also remember your "baby tender love' and how much you loved her, and all the clothes I made for her, so one day as I was sitting under the hair dryer, I started making a poncho for her and you refused to leave me until i finished crocheting, complete with tassels! You loved that poncho that was white, dark and light pink!
We had so much fun going to Japan after your graduation from HS! When you first arrived, you said you had never seen so many Japanese people! Your expression was priceless! It was a great mother/daughter bonding trip and it is something I will remember forever and it was wonderful to have you see first hand your heritage in person instead of just hearing about it through me, pictures, books.
I was so proud of you when you started your own secretarial services company and made it such a success. You were always so smart and determined to create something meaningful.
When you met Gerry you found the love of your life. It made me happy to see you so fulfilled and then when you had Kayson and Bronze, you felt your life was complete.
Thank you for being the wonderful loving daughter that you were and giving me such wonderful memories and two beautiful grandchildren that will carry your spirit and love alive. I love you Terri."
