Terry “Cody” Wayne Moore, 30, a resident of Butner passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the home. Cody was of the Christian faith and was a painter for many years.

A memorial service will be held Friday evening May 31, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor. Family and friends will share memories of Cody.

Surviving are his parents, Terry and Gail Moore of Franklinton; his fiancé, Amy Seevers of the home; two sisters, Janelle Salazar (Tony) of Creedmoor; Nicki Moore (Ronald) of Creedmoor; three brothers, Tyler Moore of Charleston, SC, Joshua Moore of Creedmoor, Jacob Moore (Megan) of Wilton; several nieces and nephews and his fur babies, Jack, Tallahassee and Ruger.

Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.

We are so sad over the passing of Cody. We will miss his humor and warm heart. We are so blessed to have him as a family member. The loss seems overwhelming. We pray for comfort and peace, and if there is anything we can do, just call or message.

Cody was a sweet soul who made friends with pretty much anyone he met. He could make you smile with a quirk of an eyebrow and his laugh was contagious. He was simply an amazing human being. My heart aches for those he left behind but we will see him again <3 until then, see you later goofball ...

My heart breaks for The Moore family Cody was my best friend my work partner and brother he was a huge part of my family's life . There's a huge hole now in our hearts but you'll always be there when we need you the most Love ya forever.
