Terry, you are missed so much. You have always been such a big part of our lives. Your love and guidance helped me achieve goals I never dreamed of. Your granddaughter KeeLeigh is in vet school and you were such a huge part of taking time on Saturday to take her to Aloha and volunteer and encouraging her the time she was a toddler and wanted to save the baby ducklings. Harvey has grown so much and doing amazing. You always told me to be patient. I love and miss you forever

I was just listening to an extended very beautiful version of "Purple Rain" by Prince and I thought of Terry immediately because it was the song he always played for me.
I just went to check up on him on FB it's been a long while, and I just found out he passed on.
I loved that man dearly.
I still do because he's here with us all. To his family I'm sorry for your loss
He, while on this Earth was a multifaceted man, like a sparkling diamond, so beautiful.
Sometimes you knew was hurting deeply.
He had his rough patches but, his heart was good and he meant well.
He taught me how to shoot a mean game of pool.
He was really everything, kind, loving, generous, sometimes he like to pick on me tell me I was fat, (I wasn't) but he knew it bothered me so he liked to get under my skin just because!
He bought basket after basket of roses for me over the years that I was in his life, he did that for others too but to me it was special as his kindness went a very long way and he as my friend knew when I was hurting too.
He called me "Red" and liked to tell folks I was Pat Benetars daughter, when we went out back in the 90's and I sang. LOL
He was my friend.
I love you so much Terry, I hope I see you again in another time outside of this one.
Time is just an illusion, we are all eternal beings.
Thank you for always being you!
I feel privileged and honored to have been your friend in this lifetime.

Terry was such a giving man. He has always been so kind to me. Terry was always willing to basically give the shirt off his back to help a friend. We shared a love for dogs as well as political views . I will miss his scratchy voice
and his laugh ( I can still hear it clearly). Gone too soon but he will not be forgotten ♡

His Life
June 3, 2021
Terry was born in Rockledge, FL and graduated from Cocoa High School in 1965. He owned First Equity Mortgage and Homeowners Title Company In Rockledge but went on to work with private investors and commercial properties later in life. Terry enjoyed sky diving, deep-sea fishing, and hanging out with his dog, Bella. Rockledge was truly his home, and he has quite a large extended family of friends who love him dearly. Terry is the son of Walter Lee Hipp (former NASA fire chief) and Wynona Hodges Hipp. He is lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Traci Hipp Lawrence and Sheri Hipp Hansen (Chris Hansen), his two brothers, Ronnie Hipp and Kenny Hipp (Joan Hipp), his six nieces and nephews, and his business partner Heather Jenkins and family. Terry was an amazing son, brother, father, and friend. He will be sorely missed by all.

Since I Met You 2001

June 3, 2021
Terry came into my life in 2001. I was working for a builder and had my newborn daughter next to my desk in her carrier. That moment began our 20 year relationship based on love, trust, and mutual respect for each other. Over the past 20 years, Terry has become part of my family. He has been there through the celebrations, successes as well as the heart ache. Always with his kind smile, listen to my gripes and offer positive words of encouragement. I am where I am today because of his belief in me and my value and worth long before I even fully realized it myself. He was a grandpa to both of my children, attending birthday parties, plays, and baseball games. He drove school car pool regularly to help Kamen and me out. He taught me about real estate and mortgages and so many other things in life. He had a gentle soul full of jokes and laughter but always wanting to help others. I am so grateful for him. I am blessed to have had him in my life and know he is watching over us as our guardian angel. ❤️ Loved and missed so very much

I met Terry and family when I was 13. I babysat the girls for many years. Terry had a dry sense of humor but he was funny in his way. I always remember how kind and supportive he was when my dad passed away. He will certainly be missed.
