Terry you would love seeing how great Matt and Andrew are doing (and Olivia and Tiffany) and how cute and fun Cash, Will, Jack, Miles and Penelope are. I'm so thankful they still get to be a part of my life - only wish I could see them more and my biggest regret for you is that you don't get to be "Grandpa Terry" as I know you would have had a blast in that role. I know you are watching over all of us however. All your friends miss you dearly as well - but your "Terryisms" continue to be with us every day! Love you my sweet man. Shannon

I think God placed you and Shannon in my life Terry. It was only for a short season, but the memories I will cherish for a lifetime. I know you are eternal. I miss you. I think of you every time I see deer and only the 'Cinnamon Girl' understands that reference. ( : Lisa

This is the last day in 2013 we could talk to you, hold your hand, and kiss your cheek. We are so glad you left us Shannon. She is a treasure. You would be so proud of your boys and their boys, and that beautiful sweet Panelope...2 years old. We miss you. And, I am sure you sent our sweet Cooper (our dog) to us. He is as sweet as you are....and he has your same Birthday. He is as special and handsome as you,        Love you, Mom & Dad

Happy Birthday to my dear Terry. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. At this point in our lives I thought we'd be traveling and you'd be gearing up for retirement in a couple of years. But, I do cherish all the fun times we had - just wish there were more. I love you!

Happy Birthday, my dear Son. As we say, we miss you terribly. It should get easier without you as time passes....but, doesn't happen. Many times things happen I want to tell Terry.... Well, Dad and I visit your final resting place frequently. Sometimes I think you have the prettiest flowers there. The pictures and comments here in this Memorial are wonderful remembrances. Well, wait for us, Sweetheart, I guess we will see you soon......Love you, Mom

Well, its been a year now, my friend. I have thought about you frequently over the last 12 months. "Gone to Soon" is certainly appropriate, I must say. But, you can be proud of the fact that Shannon has been your most ardent supporter. She has carried your torch proudly and been magnificent in her efforts to keep your memory alive. I know your boys proudly carry your legacy and your family their precious memories. You live on, my friend....YOU live on in the hearts of so many. We shall meet again.

We met on my first day of work at Continental Federal Savings & Loan in May, 1978, followed by stints at The Liberty Bank and beyond. But more than a working relationship, ours was a very special friendship that spanned 35 years. Our lives always seemed to mirror one another, creating a very special bond. Always and forever my friend. We shall meet again on the other side.

One of my fondest memories of Terry is every time Mustang Sally was sung/played. I will always remember Terry's dance moves to song and will forever perform them myself - who needs gangnam style - go old school with Ride Sally Ride! So to my friend Terry, I hope you are dancing in heaven and say "Ride Terry Ride", and thank you for loving my dear friend Shannon.

28 years is a long time to be friends with someone. Our friendship began August 5th 1985, when we started on the same day at Liberty Bank. You are the best boss I've ever had and truly one of my dearest friends. I will never forget your smile, humor and our laugh-out-loud good times.
P.S. Thanks for the stripper on my 30th Birthday!!!

I knew Terry before I met Ted. When we first started dating, I'm pretty sure Terry warned Ted that I was crazy. (Ted really should've listened to him)  : )
Terry always made me laugh & Ted's stories about their adventures never fail to crack me up.
He will be missed, but never forgotten.
God bless.

Mabry and I have been talking about when y'all came and visited and brought her a stuffed monkey. And how Terry kept saying "moankay"! Then she asked about when y'all got married and I told her that she was there. I wished you could have seen her big smile! I've been looking for the picture to post of that but I can't find it. We loved Terry's sense of humor and we really miss him.

Seems like you always remember your first best friend. Terry and I were best buds growing up in Downey Ca . In the baby boomer 50's that meant there was always plenty of kids to play with, if you got in fight with one you could always move on to next kid down the block. But Terry and I always had special bond. When he moved it was like losing a brother. Godspeed Terry!

Terry's infectious smile had you from "hello"! There are things we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go. Friends are part of your family you get to choose, a good friend is hard to find, hard to lose and impossible to forget. Terry-The road goes on forever and the party never ends! Love

I remember Terry from our street on Lowman ave. in Downey. He was our next door neighbor. We had so much fun as the Lowman ave gang. We had a surrey that we all rode up and down the street in. We had a wonderful time and life was great with the Porters next door. My prayers are with your family. Terry was truly a kind and caring person. Love Patti Churchill.

Thanks Terry for making one of my best friends so happy over the years. You were always so funny and honest. I remember one time, driving up to PC, you were sitting in the back seat and listening to Shannon and I talk/gossip in the front seat and the funny quirps you had to interject at every chance. You will be missed.

I played next to Terry for 10 plus years on the volleyball court.  When the team would get in a funk and get frustrated and mad at each other, Terry was ALWAYS the one to do something crazy or say something to get us all laughing.  He was so much fun to know and have on the team.  We spent many a nights on the sand court and Stews Crew Deck and drank beer and told stories.  His were some of the BEST.  I really did not get a chance to get to know you very well Shannon but I am so impressed with how you stood by and took care of our friend.  You are an amazing woman and god really blessed Terry and his family when he lead him to you.

When I think back of him before this affliction, I'll remember his love of my sister and the strong love and partnership they shared. I'll think of his love of the outdoors here in Colorado. The hikes, the bike riding, the golfing, and his volleyball team. My and Ashley's daughter, Claire always thought Terry was hilarious and they always went through this little act together when Claire was little and called each other Monkeys. Colorado won't be the same without him.

Shannon, if/when you need ANYTHING, call your baby brother. To Terry's parents, sons, sisters, and extended family and friends, The love between these two was extremely strong and caring. They made each other extremely happy and they both loved living in Colorado. I'll think of my friend Terry before every OU football and will imagine he's berating the umps/refs/OU coaches in OU victory and defeat.

If there is an afterlife, I'd like to think of him back as the Terry of old, playing volleyball with his visor on, opening a beer with his special flip-flops, and then settling in on his spot on the sectional to watch OU hang a half a hunnerd.
