Terry Allen Walters (65), of Germantown, Ohio, unexpectedly left us on March 5th, 2023, while visiting at his Brown County home that was his prized possession.
Terry was fiercely one of a kind who had countless friends from far and wide who he spent much time with, and with whom he would serve in endless ways. He could be considered the moving party bus himself, always ensuring entertainment and food to those around. He kept everyone on their toes with his quick wit and could make any serious subject a laughable moment. He held a deep passion to help those most in need. Ironically, as interactive and connected as he was, he also wished to be deeply secluded with his own affairs and did not conform to traditional ways.
He held an extraordinary natural talent for many things including woodwork, music, and could fix nearly anything. He was a master at gathering groups of friends, and had a knack for collecting odd junk and always had someone in mind to treasure it. He loved the great outdoors, especially boating, fishing, and the water. He enjoyed exploring many places and loved to travel. He was a great story teller and could ad lib instantly. He was also a master at bartering and trading, and if anyone needed something he would always make a way to get it.
Preceded in death by his dearest parents Albert and Lillie Walters.
Leaving behind a special bond as Paw to his grandchildren Abby, Caleb, Rylon, Gavin and Annelise, for which each one he connected to in a separate way. Leaving many friends including special buddy Dave Ruckrigl, and dear friend Randy Barnett, whom was unknowingly tasked with his handling his final day on earth.
He is survived by his beloved son Jason Walters who was always by his side and in his shadows, beloved daughter Heather (Kevin) Caskey, brother Eric (Terri) Walters, sisters Brenda (Tom) Hamrick, Connie (Lawton) Chapman, Teresa (Suvoyee) Rudd, and many more extended family. Most of all, his selflessly devoted wife of nearly 48 years, Debbie, who was his true pride, and he cherished and loved more than anything.
In respecting his wishes, there will be no formal services held. He would want nothing more than to say that he loved you all. He would direct you to carry on, live life to the fullest, and don’t miss a beat. Don’t worry about me as I am now at peace.
