We purchased our home in February 2000.  

We spent 14 wonderful years together in 'our place'.  25 total years together. 

There were ups and downs. Like all people have.  But through the breast cancer, amputation of his hand, years of surgeries and dr visits and all that life threw at us we loved each other till the end.

Our daughter Shanice was born, June 3, 1990 at 4:45 am.

I remember it vividly, because Thad was on a road trip for his job in Flordua.  He would call me everyday he was away to make sure we were ok.  On this day, I had went into labor and he got on the road from Pensacola Flordia and sped home to see his baby girl arrive into the world.  He kept calling telling me to hold on till he got to the hospital to see his baby.  He held my hand through the whole 8 hours I was in labor and comforted me with kind words through the labor pains until she decided she was ready to meet the world.  He named her Sha'nice Nicole Pipes.
