“Miss Billie” was born October Tuesday, 12, 1920, in Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Pool was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Lanett, Alabama, where she sang in the choir and served as the superintendent of the Sunday school classes. She was a long time employee of West Point Pepperell as a bookkeeper at the Cotton Department in Fairfax, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie D. Pool, her parents Nellie Ann Warren and Thomas A. “Shorty” Warren, and her brother, Nelson Warren, and sister Frances Warren. She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Pool Bates (Marshall) and her two sons, Tracy Nolan Pool, and Kelly Warren Pool (Susan) along with six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
