Theda (T.J.) was born to Marilyn J. (DeWeese) King on September 26, 1958 in Ohio.

 She was named after Her Mothers Mother, Theda J. (Jennings) DeWeese. Grandfather was Robert George DeWeese.

She originated from St. Paris, Ohio.

Theda (T.J.) was the oldest of four daughters. 

She graduated with honors from Milton-Union High School class of 1976.
