I had the pleasure of meeting Deborah on many occasions over the years. It was always a beautiful sight to see how Jeff and Deb were not just Mother and Son, but best friends. From dinners and BBQs to tramway excursions. I remember staying in Luverne with Jeff at Deborah's home. I remember having a great bonfire and party outside her home into the wee hours of the night having a beer and eating food on the grill. We went one day to the most happening place in Luverne back then, the water well, lol. It was a lot of fun. we then drove to Panama city beach and enjoyed ocean walks and sunset dinners near the ocean. Deborah was always a joy to be around. She absolutely loved spending time with her best friend and son Jeff. We will keep dancing and will always think about you when a country song comes on. With love, Alexander Dowell.

Debra has been friends with my family wayyy back! My daddy and her husband were best friends. That’s been a long time ago. Always friendly and kind words. But I would have to say the best time I had with her was working at the Bill’s Dollar Store lol. Cindy (Holley) Lester, Kim Dillon, And Karen Kelly also. Needless to say there was never a dull moment at the Dollar Store! Hard worker and just plain out fun to be around. Not to mention her and Tommy T always cutting up! Fun she was. RIP Debra, you will be missed by many ❤️ (Tracey Jordan)
