Teddy was born and raised in Paterson NJ. He graduated from Eastside High School in 1978 and attended Ramapo College for awhile. He worked at Bergen Pines Hospital as a food server. He worked as a Bus Driver for several years with Red and Tan bus line company. He was also a stay-at-home dad. He moved to Bessemer, Alabama in 2010 with his family. Teddy was a God fearing man who loved and treasured his family. He strongly believed in Love, Respect, and keeping your word.
He was predeceased by his mother Delores (Seay) Wright, father Theodore R. Wright Sr., grandfather Nathan Wright, and brother Darius Wright.
Teddy leaves to celebrate his life by his wife Janice Wilson-Wright, sister LaTonja Green in Virginia, aunts Mrs. Verna Harris in Mesa, Arizona, and Mrs Ruby Seay in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, daughters Nicole Wilson -Wright and Nafeesah Wright, son Al-Qawi Wright, granddaughters Atiya Wilson-Jenkins and Shamya Grace, grandsons Al'Jalil Altidor and Zion Altidor, great grandson Aziz Wilson-Jenkins, Son-in-laws, Jean Altidor and Adrian Craig and a host of friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with his Seay cousins near the Jersey shore.
FUNK; YOU ARE A EVERLASTING GIFT TO THOSE YOU LOVE AND TO THOSE WHO LOVE YOU!!

Ted, I remember when I first met you, we had a connection, I'm not sure what it was ,but I was instant family, the kindness you gave me , as though we knew each other for years, and I thank you for that. Janice called me sis and the kids called me auntie.
You couldn't have imagined how close I felt to you and your family.

I am sad to learn of Little Teddy’s passing. I remember our trips to Paterson to visit the Wright family and their trips to Tinton Falls to visit the Seay family. I pray that his family experiencesthe comfort of the Holy Spirit during their time of mourning. Above all, I pray that you look forward to that day when you will be reunited in the resurrection - 1 Thessalonians 4:16.
