Her Life

Fought with all she had, then she got tired!

August 18, 2019

Theresa Elaine Bryant 62 slowly slipped away after a long courageous battle with cancer on July 12, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.

She was born May 6,1957 to Robert and Edythe Lindstrom in Harve Montana. In September of 1974 she gave birth to her first child, Jay-Dee. Theresa moved to Casper Wyoming in 1980 then a year later she married her first husband Larry Bryant. December of 1984 they welcomed thier child Dustin into the world. She was also briefly married to Kenneth Bedor.

She worked multiple jobs, working as head dispatcher at RC Cab for 12 years was her favorite position during all her career. There she made many memories & friends that she kept in close contact with. In 2002 fellow co-worker, Bill Lewis invited her out to dinner. One year later he asked Theresa to marry him, she accepted and so began their 18 year companionship. After a lengthy engagement, through ups and downs & numerous obstacles Theresa and Bill had finally set a date for the end of September 2019, except the cancer had other ideas.  With the news of her cancer metastasizing they had spoke privately & both wished to marry at Wyoming Medical Center on the evening of Monday July 8 which was stopped by one of Theresa's family members,  for reasons unknown.

Theresa 's children,  and grandchildren were her pride and joy in life. She had just reconnected with a few of them over the recent months warming her heart tremendously! Theresa accepted & treated Bill's children/grandchildren as if they were her own. She had many pseudo family members who weren't related by blood nor marriage that she always welcomed with open arms,  loving them with all her heart. Far too many to individually list.

Some of Theresa' s passions in life were spending time with her boys, family & friends.  She enjoyed getting together for holiday meals & celebrations. She spent spare time doing word search,  playing games on her phone, laptop or hand held electronic ones like slots,  match 3, & yatzee. She spent many hours coloring,  with red being her favorite color. Theresa loved her candy, her mother's roquefort dressing, crushed ice,  squirt & spirte.  She loved to listen & sing to country music especially Johnny Cash. Theresa collected teddy bears and bells.  She also loved Bebe, her fur baby who stayed by her side comforting her right up until her final hours.

Theresa will be most remembered by her stubbornness, being a picky eater, for lending a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen. She would always offer advice when needed.  She disliked her bangs in her eyes, flies and the word Goodbye!

Theresa is survived by her son's Jay-Dee and Dustin,  daughter-in-law Tina,  fiance Bill all of Evansville Wy. Sister Lonnie (Kurt) Myhre of Sidney Mt. Brothers Robert (Nancy) Lindstrom of Billings  Mt, Steven Lindstrom of Baker Mt, Doug (Shirley) Lindstrom of Spokane Wa. Numerous grand/great grandchildren,  Neices and nephews to many to list & her best friend Joni Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  both husbands,  2 sons Derrick and brad as well as her fur babies Bear, snowball, Rocky & Rebel.

Cremation has already taken place under the direction of Bustards funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at Washington Park August 4, 2019 at 12pm noon
