Therman was my BFF and words can’t express the pain in my heart of loosing such a wonderful and good hearted person. The impact he left on the community and the lives he touched by his act of kindness and humbleness will forever be cherished and remembered. I can honestly say that before he departed this earth, he truly found and served his purpose in life by being a vessel for God. To the family- May you all find the peace, love, comfort and strength of God to stand unity for the sake of my BFF.

I am sadden to hear of the death of my fellow railroad co-worker, who later became a friend to me. I will remember the different times that we shared on the job, as friends, at events, and parties that he held at his home. In the latter days, it was obvious of the love that he had for his classmates and the Powderly neighborhood. He always looked out for his mom, sister, Mary might have been her named, and daughter. RIP, Nash. Condolences to the family.

The Man Behind the Men of Powderly

July 13, 2023
Mr. Therman Nash was the heart and soul of The Men of Powderly. He was right there with the other members cleaning the neighborhoods during Neighborhood CleanUp, Christmas Toy/Bike Giveaways, Senior Valentine Balls and Voting Drives. He was a man of few words. He let his actions speak for him. He, along with Mr. Bruce Lavender, proposed during one of the Men of Powderly meetings to name me as the "Official Photographer for the Men of Powderly." I received my green hat and green shirt. I was beyond honored that they would bring me into the fold. Mr. Nash was simply a good man and he will be missed by the people of Powderly.
