Dear Family Busbin
When we found out Tom had passed, it was a gut punch.
Buzzy was my best man and Amy Facile was Becky’s maid of honor when we married in Ft Knox Ky August 1975.
Tom was and still is my wingman.
During our time together at MEDDAC, I had never met a person, as Buzzy. Always a sly smile under his moustache. Always a bright attitude and the love for his friends.
We were always together, when not sleeping, which we didn’t sleep much. We had a room together in the remolded barracks. The beds were always made since we didn’t spend anytime sleeping there.
A true down-to-earth individual, with a bad side I’ve never seen.
Concert tickets back in the day were very affordable. Many times we loaded up, packed in Amy’s Gremlin, to see bands like Aerosmith, ZZ Top, and too many others to mention.
I would leave my barracks locker open so Tom could come in my cube and spin vinyls anytime night or day. He was very trustworthy.
Our mission as Medics was to have fun and the train kept on rolling, for 3 years, until we went our separate ways. I shouldn’t have lost touch with Tom, however his smile was contagious and his spirit uplifting.
We were young but we were close.

were happy and enjoyed our friendship, our Brotherhood, as Medics in spirit. People have soulmates and the 4 of us were such.
Becky and I married in 75 and 46 years later we still are together.
I am blessed to have had the opportunity meeting Tom and enjoying his company.
We will miss and Love Buzzy always and forever.
