Because I was there just by chance less than a week before he passed I feel that I should share a memory or two.

It did not matter where on earth you were, tennis courts, driving ranges and golf courses or even on the phone in search of knowledge I could always count on his watchful eye and intelligence to set me straight and on a path to success. To me in addition to being one of the of the best grandparents anyone could ask for, he was a great coach and a shining example of what hard work could do and he would support you and even give you a little push. Those pushes and wealth of knowledge made me that much better at whatever it was we were doing. It always meant so much more to see his smile and content on his face when the lesson had been learned and hard work paid off. By just looking around the house I could always find evidence of hard work and of the respect he had for others or the respect others had for him. So when he when his last words to me were" you’re a hard worker you do just fine" along with that same smile an look of content: lesson learned he approves.
It’s hard to capture everything in writing but hopefully I am not the only one who shares these views.

One memory that really stands out is getting a lesson in law for course I was taking at the time and at the same time working on my golf game. With all my heart I never could thank you enough.
