Life is so crazy right NOW, as you can see. But not just the world, things in general please continue to watch over my son and I, just the family period. Pop, words can not express how much I love and admire what you have done for and to my life. Although you were here for what seemed to be forever, you are still gone too soon. I will always love you and the memories will never let me forget you. I won't weep for you because you encouraged us not to, but I will continue to hold up what you left behind - a great legacy. Your baby girl!

An inspiration

June 30, 2012

Dad attended every one of our basketball games. You were sure to find him, sitting on the first row corner with a box of popcorn and a Sprite. He was our inspiration. When I graduated high school, and became a teacher, he encouraged me to become a coach so that he could still attend the games. He came to almost all of the B-Team games, still sitting on the front row, being the advisor.

Before this age, every morning he woke us up bright and early while Mama got food ready. When everyone had on their church going outfit, he loaded us on the back of the truck and hauled us to church. A Pillar of Faith.
