My Dad
On 4/1/79 I met my dad TOM HERNADEZ AKA POP. This was the first day
I met the man I love and who showed me how to be a man. Pop was the
inspiration to me and everyone he encountered in life, and is the man I strive to be. I can
only imagine being the one providing to all and the man that gave to all he could. Pop gave all and did all
he could, I can only hope to be the man he was. The giving loving man he was is what I will always remember. My dad taught me to be here for all, and I will be here!!
I will always remember what you gave me. I will miss our trips to Costco and your willingness to just go with me to run errands for random things. I will always remember your lessonsand long lectures... in sports and especially the times we fished. I remember as an adult planning trips so we could fish together. I will always remember your calls to see how the kids were. I remember you never missing one of the kids events. These are a small portion of my memories.
What I am missing right now Pop is walking in the door from a long day and seeing you there, and having our conversation's about how my day was. I miss my calls to see how my day was even after you just left us. I miss my calls to just provide me information and guidance. I miss your voice. I miss you so much DAD!
Dad I love you and can not wait to be with you again!
