Hey dad, the years just keep passing by. Can’t believe it’s been 7 years since you passed. Kaitlyn asked me a question yesterday, she asked if I could have 5 things back from my childhood what would they be, and the first thing I said was I wanted my dad back! Miss you and think of you often.

I had a dream last night and I got to give you a hug. Miss you dad, thinking of you on your birthday.

You made Lake Forest a better place, Coffee at Coco's more enjoyable, Facebook a little more tolerable, but you made your family happy beyond words. We all have memories, but your family had you. Everything you Dared, you Conquered. Everything you Touched, You left your Prints. For 18 years of memories, Thanks. R.I.P.

I will never forget the last time I saw you. The smell of your leather jacket when you hugged me really tight. We hadn't seen each other in more than a year. "Nice to see you Q" you said. I was your Q. Even though we didn't see each other or talk to each other often we both knew that the other was there if needed. But now you are not here. I wish we could have seen each other one more time. The time we had wasn't enough. My heart is forever saddened. But even though you are not here anymore, my love will never stop for you. Thank you for being such a great father and role model. I miss you.

Worked with John in the oil fields in North Dakota. My condolences to his wife and family. Made me laugh more times than I could count. RIP John.

Well...John just took off again,
This time driving the big blue skies.
I thought the next time he'd take off
We'd be driving the country sides together.
It was something we talked about often.
I guess it wasn't ever met to be.
So now he's left one family to be with another,
He always did miss his father and mother.
The girls and I will be fine, even though we'll miss him all the time.
I was with him right by his side,
Even then it was hard to say our good bys.

John, we were neighbors for a decade and you were an inspiration. You were a great father and provider for your family; a visionary who sought out his dreams; a successful, a hard-working entrepreneur and a man of God. I enjoyed your company and neighborly advice. The world has lost a great man but you left a legacy in a great family; your wonderful wife and daughters carry on your strong and determined character. I am proud to have known you. Many blessings to your family as they carry out your legacy.

No words can describe my sadness. I will miss hearing your voice, your advice, and your laugh. So happy I got to spend the last few months close to you. I hope you know how much I love you, I will forever carry you in my heart!

John,
you leave behind a beautiful family. I know you will watch of your girls and all of your beautiful grandchildren. Your family now has you as their guardian angel to watch over them. My mom passed on Feb 16th. this year.  Her name is Josephine King. If you bump in her.. can you please give her a hug and a kiss from her baby girl? maybe you two can become friends and keep each other company while the rest of us hang tight awaiting our turn.
