The Sound of your Voice

 

 Someone told me not to worry that God is never late.

 I knew in my heart that this was true as you walked through heaven’s gates,

 A husband, father, brother, and son.

 A friend to all you knew,

 Accepting, loving, and graceful man.

 A son of God through and through.

 The sound of your voice was music to our lives.

 Though you are gone, you are in our hearts.

 Your melody shall never fade.

 We know you are shining down on us, still loving us today.

 The memories we have with you shall never slip away.

 As you walk the streets of gold with God, we know his promises are true.

 We will never forget the love you gave us and our time spent with you.
