This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Thomas (Tom, or Tommy) Weyand. We will remember him forever.
Having recently met more of Tom's family I could see why he was such a loving genuine person. He comes from a wonderful family, a loving devoted mother, three sisters, and a brother. Tom also had a beautiful family of his own with three sons and has been blessed with many special grandchildren whom he adored. Tom was a family man, you could see and know that after just meeting him. He loved talking about his family and how much they meant to him.
Tom was also an amazing friend. He was always ready with a kind word ("your hair looks nice today,____insert name here"), was genuinely interested in you and how you were. He was always there to listen if you needed to talk, or providing a shoulder if you needed to shed a few tears. His door was always open to friends and family. If "the" game was on and you happened to stop by well, have a seat there's always commercials for talking. I joke but Tom loved his sports and was a devoted fan of the Buckeye's football and basketball team, The Cleveland Browns and I do believe it was the Indian's for baseball.
Tommy (as I always called him) holds a very special place in my heart. He was there for me when I felt I had nowhere else to turn. He has been there for countless others as well and I encourage you to leave a story or anecdote about Tom on this memorial site. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this website, that we have the opportunity to keep the memory of Tom alive. A place that his grand kids can come and read about their grandpa. Take a few moments to share your stories using the different tabs at the top of this page. It will be difficult not having him with us, but he will forever live in our hearts and memories of our time together.
