His Life
April 12, 2016

Mr. Wilkerson was born in Franklin, Georgia on November 8, 1950, to the late, Hattie Mae Person Wilkerson and James Wilkerson. He was the light of his parent’s life until their tragic deaths, after which was then raised by his sistes.. He was always a fun loving young man who especially enjoyed being close to his family, going out to eat and grocery shopping. When he became an adult he enjoyed making many different craft items at the Newnan/Coweta Association for Special Needs Citizen, Inc., Rutledge Center. His winning personality made him a favorite of all of his teacher’s and friends at the center. His physical limitations prevented him from doing many things, but his love for life enabled him to find joy in the things he could do. Thomas’s life brought great happiness to all his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by three sisters, Brenda Wilkerson, and Joann Bray both of Franklin, GA., and Dorothy Ann Baker (James) of Dothan, AL.; and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Satterwhite, Ernestine Dallas, and Linda Wilson; and three brothers, Tommy Wilson, James Wilkerson, Jr., and Billy Wilkerson.
