Where to start there are so many wonderful
memories of nana. She made the best banana sandwiches and used to share her crown mints that would sit on her table. We spent many times together down at port Noarlunga beach collecting cockles and shells and we’d take them back to her house to “keep” only nana couldn’t keep them as they would smell terrible after a while but that didn’t stop her from taking me to collect them when I visited her. She tried to teach me how to play the organ but I just wasn’t musically inclined. It was just so wonderful to spend the wonderful quality time together and I’d give anything to have one more day with her and for her to meet all of her beautiful grandchildren who she would have loved dearly.
