Today is your birthday and I know how much you enjoyed celebrating every year with a party and or a dinner at Old Country Buffet.  You were misunderstood by many but brought nothing but Joy to those that truly knew you.  It still amazes me at your ability to know every family members birthdate, anniversary, due date and special occasions without ever looking at the calendar.  You made sure that you acknowledged each day and even called the rest of the family to remind them to acknowledge the dates as well.  You were so full of love.  Its funny how your spirit is just as strong as your personality was.  The hints that you leave when you think someone has forgotten you has gotten stronger over the years.  Every thing from purple flowers popping up through the rocks when its freezing cold outside, Sister Act playing over and over again on channels that never play that movie anymore (HBO and Showtime) and my phone ringing with your Moms old house number appearing on my phone (when she hasn't had that number in years).  The fact that I can hear your voice (not all but most) Friday nights while getting ready for church asking over and over "Are you going to church" is like music to my ears.  You were and always will be my Sis.  Your life has not been forgotten and your spirit lives on through your neices and nephews who remember you and speak of you frequently.  Even those that were born after you departed this world know exactly who you are.  Caleb looks at your pictures and says "that's Auntie Pookum".  We will not allow them to forget you.  Happy Birthday Sis!
