Mr. Hill was born Tuesday, August 17, 1951, in LaGrange, Georgia, the son of the late Vilma L. and Arthur M. Hill. He worked at West Point/Johnston Textile as a Product Development Engineer for 29 years. He was in the National Guard as a mortar gunner for 6 years. Mr. Hill loved his family and friends, watching Atlanta Braves baseball, the Atlanta Falcons and the University of Alabama (Roll Tide)! He loved canoeing, camping, fishing, grilling and just spending time with his friends and family. Mr. Hill was a wonderful father, grandfather and uncle. He will be sorely missed by family and friends and furry babies. He was always happy and constantly smiling.

Survivors include his daughter , Tangela D. Hill Scott of Valley; his son Timothy M. Hill of Valley; four grandchildren, Skyler Scott-Hill, Anthony Hill, Katelyn Hill and Jessica McClellan all of Valley; 3 great grandchildren, his brother, Bill W. (Ruthann) Hill of Indianapolis, Indiana; his brother in law, Richard Billingsley of Lanett; his sister, Michelle (Bennie) Coulter of Valley; 11 nieces, 5 nieces, 20 great nieces and 20 great nephews. Mr. Hill was predeceased by brothers, Arthur M. Hill, Jr, Philemon M. Hill and Paul E. Hill; his sisters, Marie E. Hill-Osborn, Sue R. Hill-Woodard and Brenda P. Hill-Billingsley.
