Hi Brother,

Kind of hard to believe it's been 4-years since we lost you. Not a day goes by without thinking of you or the things we did together as kids. But as I get older and closer to coming Home I am excited to see you again and give you that big brother hug I so much never got to give you. I pray you are watching down on all of us and are at peace. I miss you and LOVE YOU.

Tiger,

I miss you so much...returning to Athens brought back so many memories and stories of our time there together...I know you were with me there, as you are with me always. Until the day we see each other again, know that you are greatly loved and sorely missed. Be at peace, big brother...

Love,

Jen

Tim, your absence her is greatly missed. There are so many things in everyday that I do and they remind me of you. I selfishly want you back but I do know you are in a much better place and you are without and pain or suffering. For this I’m happy but have a difficult time not being able to simply talk to you. I know we will be together again so until that time be at peace and know you are loved by your sisters and me. Love ya brother.

Happy Birthday Little Brother. I think of you often. You are terribly missed but knowing you are at peace and wearing wings brings a little smile to my face. More you wearing wings! (See I haven’t given up dishing out the smart remarks). May you continue to look over us and stay in our hearts. Love ya man.

Oh Tiger! Where are you? Do you know how many times over the last twenty years I’ve asked that question!? You were my first and greatest friend - in a new country full of strangers - you took me in and made me feel welcome. You excelled as my loyal companion. You were my professional inspiration. You gave me wise council when I asked for it - and wiser council when I needed it. I should have listened to you more. You were - both figuratively and literally - my “Best man”.
Actually, you will always be - My Best Man.
I hope they serve Miller Lite in Heaven - because you and I have a great deal to discuss - and I know you wouldn’t want to begin the conversation with anything less.

Beth/ Fletcher, I am heart broken over your loss. Tiger was one of those extremely likable people here on earth with an infectious smile. I'll always remember the days at your parents home in Miami, and the times we spend actually having conversations with your parents around the living room, something families rarely do any more, Tiger was always there to liven things up. He will be sorely missed. My prayers and condolences to all.

His Life

Timothy John Moore 1963 – 2019

February 23, 2019

On Sunday, February 10th, 2019 Tim Moore (more affectionately known as “Tiger”) went to spend the rest of his spiritual life in the loving hands of God at the age of 55.

Tim was born on December 28th, 1963 at Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables, FL to Samuel Leedom Moore and Nannette Fletcher Moore. Tim grew up in Miami and graduated from Westminster Christian High School where he developed many loving and lasting relationships. He then continued his education at the University of Georgia where he studied Information Technology/Computer Science. While married to Susan Johnson Moore, together they created a beautiful daughter Courtney Anne Moore. Tim was a devoted, loving, and dedicated father to Courtney. He was very invested in her education and thoroughly enjoyed coaching her and her softball team. Together they shared in his love of boating where he encouraged her to get her boating license. They also had a mutual relationship with God and deeply valued attending church together.

Growing up around Tim you had to know his love for taking things apart and then putting them back together, only better. He loved tinkering on his pride and joy… his black 1977 Smokey and the Bandit Edition Trans Am. And not so much on his older brother Fletcher’s first boat, a Formula 23’.

Services will be held to honor Tim’s life on March 1st, 2019 at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church beginning at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will then take place at Sandbar Sports Grill of Cutler Bay beginning at 1:00 pm.

There will also be a service in Clearwater, FL on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 at the Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church, 110 South Fort Harrison Ave. From 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Tim you can make a donation in Tim’s name to the Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church, which will go to the Peace Café. This is where Tim loved spending his time helping out the homeless by cooking and serving them in many ways.

We all love you Tim, you will be dearly missed but we all are more peaceful knowing you are in a place of pure love, peace, and tranquility.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Samuel “Tim” Leedom Moore and his mother, Nannette Fletcher Moore. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Anne Moore,”his little monkey”; his brother, Fletcher Moore; and his sisters, Melodee Hicks and Jennifer Fernandez, along with their spouses, Beth Moore, Dr. Bryan Hicks, and Julio Fernandez. He also leaves behind five nieces and one nephew, Brooke Moore, Samantha Moore, Hannah Hicks, Haley Hicks, and Davis Hicks.

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble at heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
