Before our wedding, Tim hosted a lobster dinner for us and the parents at his place in Roxbury. We feasted! He had a giant lobster pot going outside the building and had set up a long table, complete with flowers, bruschetta, cheeses, and sparking water with fancy citrus wedges. Even though he was also preparing dessert three flights up, and we'd cooked many meals together, he wouldn't let us help on that afternoon. He watched the pot below and trekked up and down the 3 flights of stairs for all the chairs, silverwear, glasses, linens, and all the other stuff--timed, of course, so the lobsters were cooked just right. He then cleared the whole table when we were done. That was one of many meals we shared together. Most were not nearly as fancy or involved, but all were made with the same love and generous spirit. Many had much laughter, but also memorable are those when we ate together and cried over whatever what needed crying about. Tim was like that, always open to share, the good, the great, the bad, and the very bad. It's nice to think that when we eat something made with love, Tim will come to mind. I think he'd appreciate it.

Tim was an avid reader and particularly liked fantasy fiction with a humorous bent. He introduced me to a number of great authors including Terry Pratchett, Christopher Moore and Ben Aaronovich.  I remember visiting him at his home in Maroubra and looking for something to read. I pulled Hogfather by Terry Pratchett off the shelf and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've since read every Pratchett book in our local libraries.

Dr Tim was a legend doctor and human being. I had the pleasure of knowing him while I lived in Perth in 2019/2020. I was quite sick and going through some personal issues and he was so kind and helpful. His duty of care was exceptional. The world needs more Dr Tim’s. May he have a beautiful onward journey to wherever he is going now.
