Isaiah 57 vs 1&2

Good people pass away;
the godly often die before their time.
But no one seems to care or wonder why.
No one seems to understand
that God is protecting them from the evil to come.
For those who follow godly paths
will rest in peace when they die.

It has taken me time to get myself to write a tribute. I am still asking Gina, is it true? I am still asking myself, is it a joke? Aunty your death is painful but we cannot question our Maker.
You lived well. You did your best. You were bold, firm and forthright.
You always wanted the best for everyone.
As a believer, i am comforted with the knowledge that you are resting with your Father in heaven.
It is so tough for me to go back ,to recount our days in the Bank , you made it a fun place to work at but i pray for God's comfort for Uncle, the Children, grandchildren and entire family.
Goodnight Aunty.
Your memory will surely live on...

Words fail me at this time as your passing came as a rude shock to me. ‘Mama’ as I fondly called you, not only visited me at my time of sorrow and pain of loosing a daughter, but constantly kept sending texts with prayers and words of comfort. The day you visited me would forever be remembered in my household as you made everyone laugh including me and prayed for us. You have always shown me love and treated me like a daughter and so your passing is very painful as there were no good byes. You were very firm and stood your ground in the place of fairness at the work place. I pray that the Great Comforter our God would comfort your entire family and grant them the fortitude to bear this painful loss. Mama, may your soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Iya Adekoya as popularly called by our CBCLN family. We will greatly missed you, your love, care & discipline. Your speech without fear. Bitter truth at times when we found it tough to swallow. You are an encourager & solution provider. When you are in love with one, it intoxicated.
You are the first contact for my ever first permanent employment, how can I forget you? How can the story of my life be completed without your name being mentioned. You always made a land mark in the life of whoever you come across.

We loved you but your creator loved you most. In most of the cbcln gathering, when you arrived, topics & interaction changed.

You will forever be missed my boss , sister in law turned blood sister.

Farewell sister till resurrection day daughter of Zion.

Hmmm mummy Adekoya, my big mummy, i still find it difficult to believe you are no more, you were a problem solver, you took my mum like your own biological sister. On the 3rd of April you were at my wedding, you told me whenever I come to Lagos I should come for my gift not knowing that will be the last day I will be seeing you mummy. May your soul continue to rest in peace, my action mummy, my no nonsense mummy, you will forever be in our ❤️. Rest on mummy .

YOU WERE MUMMY TO EVERYBODY!! Your home was my home away from home, I was so often in your house unannounced! Sometimes Biola would come back home with 5-6 girlfriends in tow and you wouldn't even blink. The pot of soup was always open to hungry teenagers whenever we showed up. Bless you ma.
Indeed a pillar, a warrior, an amazon has gone on to be with the Lord. Sleep well

Mummy...O ga o. Just like that, no more of your encouraging posts, messages, calls and witty conversations. You made your mark Ma. A huge one.

You opened your arms and heart to welcome your children's friends like your own children. Your home was a haven, a 2nd home and a fun spot for many of us.

You were so concerned about us, gave us advice to help us move ahead. I learnt from how you taught
and encouraged your children on the value of work and entrepreneurship. You were also quick to correct us when you saw fit. We knew to behave ourselves

Thank you Ma. Thanks for your love and support.

My last conversation with you Ma....hmm...I know the Lord will do a great thing, and by His Grace, you will witness His Goodness...even if not on this side of eternity.

Rest in God's Peace and Power Ma. We love you

Our sincere condolences to the family of Tinuolade Adekoya. The demise of our sister, friend Tinuolade Adekoya was a hard one for us all to swallow. Your life was great exemplary of what our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us to do, by loving your neighbor as you love yourselves. Your true love for everybody was very evident.
Every individual that you came across during your lifetime was treated as if they’re part of your family. You loved everybody equally. Your honesty and generosity were unquestionable.
We were all very lucky to have had Tinuolade in our lives and as much as she will be missed by us all, her memory will be with us forever. Sleep tight, we love you but God loves more. RIP.

It was a rude shock when my twin sister broke the news of the demise of Mrs Adekoya aka Mummy Biola. Like a floodgate, memories of the time shared flooded my consciousness. Mrs Adekoya was more than a band member of Anna's band with my mom. She was always there for us and ever willing to make herself available. I remember during the planning of my wedding, she constantly proffered solutions and on the fateful day, she was on ground before the event kicked-off. She was that selfless. It is without a doubt that she will be missed greatly.
It is my prayer that God will grant the entire family the fortitude to bear this huge loss. Amen.
Rest in peace Mrs Adekoya.

Dear Mummy Adekoya,
I am completely speechless, how do I explain that I was at your home for the first time to celebrate your birthday with you a few weeks ago but now you sing with the saints. I met you on the phone some years back through your daughter Sister Abiola , and you took to me immediately . You would always bring me materials and things anytime you travel. You always prioritize my luggage even when I didn’t pay for extra luggage. Dearest Mummy, we will miss you so much especially your prayers . Thank you for touching our lives in a special way. May you sleep well in the bosom of the Lord.

My dear Tinuolade my name sake. To say you will be missed is an understatement. Starting our set WhatsApp group in May 2015 was a journey that brought so many of us together after almost 50 years of leaving school and not seeing each other at all. You immediately became a live wire and was prompt to advise, challenge, encourage, protest and or encourage as you deem fit. I cherish your candor and our late night discussions on what should or should not be done. I pray our Father in heaven grant you sweet repose until the day of judgement. I do not know what to say to your loved ones children grandchildren but I ask my Heavenly Father to wrap them all in His warm embrace and meet them at all their points of need in Jesus Name Amen
