Sir, after the shocking news of your death on New Year's day, as usual, in such situations, it was The Good Book that I turned to, Why, christened Titus, it was that epistle of Paul to Titus that I turned to in the Bible; peradventure, I'd stumble on a nugget of wisdom or two that will encapsulate my impressions of you. I was not disappointed. Through Titus, Paul sent a message to the people of Crete: "Slander, abuse or speak evil of no one, avoid being contentious, be forbearing, gentle, and conciliatory. And to show unqualified courtesy towards everybody.' Titus 3:2. To your own Titus, Pa Olufemi Omotoso, Paul was pushing at an open door. His admonition of the Cretians was your life's creed. It is indeed what we all admire about you. You'd be sorely missed.
