Her Life
June 21, 2021
Toluwalope Fikemi Obamuyiwa was born in Ibadan on the 2nd of November 1981 to the family of Mr Oluyomi and Mrs Modupe Kolade.
Toluwalope attended The Polytechnic Ibadan Staff School for her primary education and then proceeded to St. Louis Grammar School, Mokola for her secondary education. Immediately afterwards, she gained admission to the Federal University of Technology, Akure where she graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Crop, Soil and Pest Management with Honors.
Toluwalope started her career as a National Youth Service Corps member at the Ogun State Agricultural Development Program before joining First City Monument Bank (FCMB) in 2012 where she cultivated and maintained relationships with customers. Tolu was astute and dedicated to her duties and with her high level of expertise, she rose to the position of relationship manager.
In her personal life, Toluwalope was a devout Christian who eschewed the principles of a Christ-like life. She was committed to helping people in all spheres of life. She was an "end-to-end" caregiver, affectionate and kindhearted. She had more than enough love to give to everyone around her. She was a true friend, colleague, aunt, sister, daughter and wife.
On June 17 2021, Tolu answered the call back home after a brief illness. She had completed her journey on earth, ran a good race, finished the course and kept the faith.
She is survived by a loving family.
