"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Isaiah 41:10

Tolutope Shirley Aje was born on January 17, 1966 to Mr. Joseph Aje and Mrs. Rachel Aje in Owo, Nigeria. She died on October 23, 2013 and is survived by  loving sister, brother , cousins, nieces, uncles and aunties.

Tope attended Tunwashe Nursey/primary school, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja in Lagos. Her secondary school education was at Victory High School, Ikeja, Lagos, graduating in 1982.  She subsequently went to Federal School of Arts and Science, Ondo,  before coming to the USA,  She attended Brooklyn College, with a BA degree in accounting,  she worked for few prestigious firms before she decided to start her own business about 3-4 years ago.

Tope, as we all call her,  was loving, caring, selfless, hardworking, funny, compassionate, affectionate, energetic , outgoing and can be a bit head strong sometimes but we love her for her uniqueness. She was beautiful on the inside and out. She touched a lot of people’s lives by always putting others before herself and showing compassion to everyone she came in contact with.

Our loving sister, friend, cousin, niece, aunty, to say that we miss you is a gross understatement. We will always carry you in our hearts and your legacy will never be forgotten. May your gentle soul rest in peace till we meet again. We love you so much but God loves you more.
