Tom came from Petrolia. He was raised by his parents Roy and Tillie Powell. He had 6 sisters Marion, Linda, June, Dorothy,Brenda and Marlene, and 1 brother Pat. They grew up on a farm..they all worked very hard. Later in years Tom lost his dad.They moved to Sarnia. Tillie did the best she could to raise the 3 youngest ones by herself, which Tom had always praised her for the life they had. Tom worked hard over the years became a licensed mechanic and well known by everyone for his talents. Tom married in 1994 and had 2 son's Clayton in 1990 and Kyle in 1991. He was a great father and husband. In 2011 we finally put roots down and bought a house, he was so proud.. Then in 2012 his world came crashing down he was diagnosed with cancer 2 of them, the out come was not good.. He stayed positive never complained and fought like hell for over 2yrs he was strong but gentle, loving but stood his ground, and the most caring man you would ever meet..
