Tom Lines, 67, peacefully passed away on September 19, 2015. Tom was born in Battle Creek, Michigan where he resided until his retirement to Punta Gorda, Florida in 2000.

He is survived by his daughters Martha July and Erica Lines of Battle Creek, his brother Dan Lines of Punta Gorda, FL,  his sister Brenda Roller of Port Charlotte, FL,  his sister Carol Hibbard of Henderson, NV, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, October 3, 2015 from noon to 4 p.m. at Schuler’s of Marshall, Michigan.  Friends and family will gather for an informal celebration at a later date in Punta Gorda, Florida.

A dog lover, he will especially be missed by his loving dog, Pearl. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations please be made to Hospice, a wonderful and caring organization.

Dan. So sorry to hear about Tommy's passing. I remember growing up how you and my brother Bob and Tommy were always into some form of trouble.  Bob loved you two like brothers and was always telling stories and laughing about your "adventures" growing up in Battle Creek. Again, so sorry for your loss. Love to you and Kate.

Erica, I am so sorry for your loss. I truly enjoyed working with Tom on the Willard Library Bookmobile. We worked, we laughed, we lunched at Emilio's, and Tom scared me by driving the Bookmobile through a tunnel near Wattles Park Elementary School. He was a fine man.
