Thomas Michael Radwanski, 71, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on August 21, 2020. Born March 17, 1949 in Manville, NJ he was the son of the late Michael G. Radwanski and Marie A. (Czaplicki) Radwanski.
After graduating from the College of Emporia, Tom moved to north Florida where he was a fixture for over 40 years. After starting his career in banking, Tom followed his passion into construction and spent the majority of his career as a general contractor. Tom was project oriented and never happier than when working on a project, whether on the job or at home. When relaxing, Tom loved watching football and could rattle off the background of half the players in the NFL. He also developed a passion for baseball late in life and was thrilled to watch his Washington Nationals win the world series. Above all else, Tom loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed a good meal, a drink, a laugh, and the company of good people.
Tom is survived by two children, Alan Radwanski and his wife Evelyn of Pearland, TX, and Amy Radwanski of Orange Park, FL; three grandchildren, Anna, Benjamin, and Evan Radwanski; his siblings Patricia Bowsman, Kenneth Radwanski, and Michael Radwanski; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Due to challenges resulting from COVID-19 and the desire to properly celebrate Tom’s life, Memorial services and a celebration of life are tentatively scheduled for early June 2021 in Jacksonville, FL. Updates will be provided via Facebook and other social media platforms.
