ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Tom Thomson who was born on July 23, 1931 and passed away on March 16, 2011. We will remember him forever.

A service for family and friends will be held on Monday 28th March (Monday) at 2:30pm at St. Mary's Church,  Puddletown, Dorset. We hope you will be able to join us and share your memories of a wonderful husband, father, grand-father and friend.

The internment at St Edwards Church , Athelhampton will be for close family only and they will then join his other family and friends at Athelhampton House at 3pm to celebrate his life as he would have wished.

Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in as Tom would not have wanted a somber affair - although out of respect no jeans please.

Tom also loved flowers, so if you feel you would like to make a floral donation, please send them to Co-op Funeral Services (01305 266888) and they will arrange for them to be at the service.

Thank you so much for all your kind messages

Love,

Janet, Douglas, Heather, Gregory, Angela and Michael

A long, long time ago - a great man asked me "What are your intentions with my daughter?" back then I didn't have an answer, but if I knew then what I know now, I would have replied "To provide my children with an amazing Grandad" With love..xxx

We will miss Uncle Tom so very much. He was always the life and soul of any party; dancing, laughing and joking and always pouring such huge measures!! He is up there still partying with Mum. Love to all the lovely Thomsons xxx

Where has the time gone? I have 2 amazing little boys who never got to meet their grandad but they know all about you. We talk about you and most of it involves laughter and jokes. I hope you can hear us and smile. We didn’t always like each other but I always new you loved me and I loved you back. I was angry for such a long time that you didn’t come home when you promised you would meet my bump. I understand now if you could have stayed you would. You already new what type of people your children had grown to be, I hope you are looking down and seeing what great grandchildren you have as the grow and your great grandson too.
