A son of the late Mary Jackson and Tommie Hubbard, Mr. Jackson was a life long resident of Seale, and was a member of Cool Spring Baptist Church in Pittsview, AL where he serves diligently with the Ushers Ministry. He was retired with over 15 years of service from Walker Williams Lumber Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Gaines Jackson.

Survivors include: his son, Tommy P. Jackson, Jr. (Trichina); three daughters, Patsy Jackson, Cynthia Jackson Ware (Michael) and Vickie Jackson; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three brothers, Sammy Johnson (Rosa), Pastor Eddie Johnson (Mary) and Joe Nathan Johnson; a sister, Ann Donegan; loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
