Grace.asiedu: Adieu my dear friend and colleague. We cannot stop talking about how you brought smiles to people faces. The world is no longer the same without you. Rest in peace, till we meet and part no more. Theo Bello.
Theo Bello: “A good name is better than precious ointment, And the day of death than the day of one’s birth; Better to go to the house of mourning Than to go to the house of feasting, For that is the end of all men; And the living will take it to heart.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Death took the body, God took the soul, our minds hold the memories, our hearts keep the love and our faiths let us know that one day we will meet again. Rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ, until we meet and part no more. I want us to ponder for a second on this “what will people say about me after I have gone?” Though he was firm and fair, he showed us all the practical meaning of love, dedication, selfless, and servant leadership at its best. Adieu. We miss you. Theo Bello

It has been an honour working and growing up with you, all the advice you gave and the family we created on Hollin Ward. They say friends are the family you choose, I am glad I chose you. Till we meet again, zororai murugare Papa.

Rhona Thomas: My condolences to the Dzingai family. I know death is a road we all have to travel yet; we can't go without leaving aching hearts. But take courage, knowing that Jesus announced Himself as a father, friend, counsellor etc.. Because he alone knows the future... Be strong' Tonderai has left you in good hand/God's Hand... RIP Papa...

Mahen: Tonderai 20 years ago we met and we have always become good friends and worked together. When you took over the Cardamom Ward as a manager, you made sure patients and staffs are well looked after, as this was your main priorities. During the Covid period you did your best for all the staffs and patients to wear their PPE. During the hard times I was having, you have always been there for me and supported me. Today it was a pleasure for me to carry the Zimbabwean flag to honour you. You have always been kind, supportive and helpful to anyone in needs of your help. The ward is empty without you now and we will continue to follow the good examples and advice you gave us. I present my sincere condolences to the Dzingai family as well as on behalf of the Great Cardamom Team. May God bless you all and be strong. May your soul rest in peace now papa as today it was the last of the last to see you. I will always remember you my boss.

HS: It was a blessing to have known you as a friend and a brother. It is painful to think that just like that you are gone. You were a selfless person so full of love and wisdom and with a massive (bigger than life) heart. It is just a reminder of the fragility of life, however what is important is the legacy left behind. You left a hole that no one can fill. I pray that God comforts your family and bring peace and acceptance. Rest in eternal peace my friend, till we meet again kana tsuri yorira.

Words fall short. Dzingai had a larger than life heart, and soul. He was a tower of kindness, ready to share, guide with his knowledge. I knew him from Airforce days in Chegutu. Emigrated to UK in the 90’s kept in touch. I grew professionally and in life, as I never would have without his mentoring and generosity of his soul. RIP GOD’S BEST.

I am really shocked to hear this sad news. I worked with Tonderai at the BEH-Chase farm for over 15 years. Tonderai was an exceptional work colleague. It was so pleasant to work with him. Always in a good mood, positive and very professional. He really had a way with people. Everyone loved him. He was laughing all the time. Thinking of Tonderai, we immediately see his beautiful smile. He was both a valued colleague and a truly kind person. There are some people that make work worth it on the dreariest of days—that was Tonderai. Rest in peace Papa!!!

Paps
My journey with you started the day I Interviewed you for your first appointment at the North London Forensic Service. I got to know you as a colleague, a friend and a brother. You remained humble and down to earth as you progressed in your career. What struck me most was your kindness and generosity. Always willing to help others and never asking for anything in return. You were indeed our PAPA. I have no words to describe how gut wrenching a loss this is to me personally. May your soul rest in eternal peace

Your love and compassion for all is such an example to strive for. I will always remember how kind you were to me, how you encouraged me and went out of your way to always check in on how I was. My heart is with your family and friends, we may have lost you too soon but I know heaven has received one more angel. Till we meet again x

Tonderai , although I have never worked on the same ward as you , I have known you for many years when we both worked together in what was a small part of the Trust called forensics . I always wondered why you were called Papa ? The massages that family, friends have written before me highlights in bold lights why you were called Papa , words like boss , gentleman, kind , gracious , the loss felt , People described your smile , laughter, confidant, leader , humble . These are things that people describe a loved member of family, a wise person who people seek for advice from . You were that man . I cannot add anymore to the description other than this , your kindness to others, and the ability to carry on when times have been tough with the same coolness and smile is an example to us all.
God and the angles will have accepted you , I ask them to bless your family and friends.
RIP PAPA

My heartfelt condolences to the family of our dear friend and colleague - Papa Tonderai who on 5th February 2021 sadly departed this sinful world and was called home. Death took the body, God took the soul, our minds hold the memories, our hearts keep the love and our faiths let us know that one day we will meet again. Rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ until we meet and part no more. As we cannot turn the hands of the clock back, let us celebrate the brief time he spent with us. Many people has attested to how humble, dedicated, selfless, ....... (the list goes on)he was. I want us to ponder for a second on this “what will people say about me after I have gone?” Though he was firm and fair, he showed us all the practical meaning of love, dedication, selfless, and servant leadership at its best. Adieu my dear friend. Rest in perfect peace.
