SANFORD, Maine Tony A. Lesperance, 44, of Sanford, died on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford.

Tony was born in Rochester, New Hampshire, on Dec. 20, 1964, to Armand and Charlotte Hayes Lesperance.

He attended local schools.

He was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and riding dirt bikes. He was a very outgoing person with a wonderful sense of humor. He liked being around people and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Surviving are five children, Anthony Lesperance, of Sanford, Amber Lesperance, of East Rochester, New Hampshire, Ashley Lesperance, of Alton, New Hampshire, Angela Keene, of Somersworth, New Hampshire, and Wayne LaPanne, of Saco; his mother, Charlotte Hayes, of Sanford; two grandchildren; and several sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
