Tony was like a brother to me even though we were cousins. He was always trying to make friends. Whether being involved in golf or insurance, he was always trying to make the day special for someone. He always kept in touch with me even though we lived in different parts of the country most of our lives. In our conversations, he was very proud of his daughter, Michelle, and her accomplishments in life and his son-in-law and two grandchildren. He remembered his past vividly and always wanted to make it part of his present. His little dog, which was a beagle, was his connection to his Father.

I had the privilege of spending lots of good times and meaningful work with Tony. He and I worked the Forida market with American Bankers Life, and we both had significant success in playing leadership positions with our Blue Cross associates. But just spending quality time with him meant a great deal to me. We had a tremendous opportunity to see the world through our conferences, the world of golf with our ABL brothers/partners and lots of fun expericences together over the 40 years I knew him. Tony was a guy everyone liked and I was always up for spending time with him. I considered him one of my closet friends. The world is a little less fun without Tony in it.

I was a fraternity brother at Bryant. As I remember Tony, he was just a nice guy. After I graduated in 1965, I lost touch with most of the brothers except for Brian Oshrin and Chuck Grundman. From these posts it appears that Tony continued on being a nice guy with good friends. 76 is too young.

I first met Tony when we moved here, a very sweet man, always asked how was my little dog was doing, he would come to the empty lot next to me to walk Louise and we would share stories about our dogs. I will miss seeing him.

Tony was a true friend and it's a true loss to me ! I use to work with him in the Fort Myers area for many years, always put a smile on my face and yes the times at lunch or after work that we would get together to have a few drinks and good conversations, always trying to make everyone laugh . He was good friend to me and my wife. I will miss his emails no matter the subject matter LOL  God Bless and may you enjoy your new adventure. I like to thank Michelle for reaching out to let me know that my good friend has moved on to a better place. Miss you Tony.....

We met Tony through his daily drive- arounds with sweet Louise. He always had a story or joke to tell. It's sad not to see them driving down the street anymore. It's comforting to know he is at peace and Louise is in a wonderful loving home❤️

I met Tony about two years ago when I moved one street over from him. He introduced himself and said welcome my name is Toni and this is Louise the last girl I will ever have LOL. He then asked me about myself and I told him I was not retired yet I was a real estate agent, from then on about every other day he would stop by and say hey how many houses have you sold today? I am going to miss him stopping by. Condolences to the whole family and friends, he was a nice man

When Tony joined our Wednesday golf group here in The Villages things changed for us immediately. No longer did we just show up and play golf....no, now we showed up and were entertained with colorful stories and some very colorful jokes. Everyone wanted to be in Tony's group because if you were you knew you were in for a fun day of golf....even if your golf wasn't so fun!
We sure missed him when he moved but he was never forgotten by his many friends here.
Rest in peace Tony....your job here on earth is done....and it was a job well done.

Tony was one of the first people I met in the dorm upon my arrival at Bryant in 1964. He and his roommate Josef Kozaka, made me feel welcome and were my first exposure to fraternity life. Tony's warmth and ability to communicate on just about anything encouraged me to pledge Beta Sigma Chi. That has to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. When Pledge Formal rolled around, it was Tony who offered a ride for me and my date. When I became an RA, it was Tony who helped me with the larger issues. RIP Brother. Your memory lives on in my heart!

It's with sadness that I let you know that Tony Fassell has passed away suddenly on April 25. My dad loved and cherished his family and friends. He was a great guy who never met a person he couldn't talk to, even if it was just to say hello. In his later years, he loved spending time with his precious rescue dog, Louise. In commemoration of his love for rescue animals, he would love it if you wanted to donate to the local Human Society - https://www.humanelake.com/donate. Rest in Peace, Dad
