Tracie passed away peacefully Friday, August 27th in Granbury, Texas from Covid complications. The family is overwhelmed with the amount of love and support they've received.  The outpouring of affection posted on Tracie's Facebook page is heartwarming and the family would like that support to continue here so that it will be memorialized.  This tribute is to honor Tracie's life and allow for everyone who loved her to share their favorite pictures, stories, videos and messages to Michael and Jaden.

Tracie was born on April 2, 1976 in Fort Worth, TX to parents Chris King Torres and Jimmy Torres. After graduating from Western Hills High School in Fort Worth in 1994, Tracie graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science, Interdisciplinary Studies.

Tracie's passion was her life's work as a holistic health provider. She brought a unique gift and skillset to helping others through holistic healing. She was known among her colleagues and growing clientele for her capabilities and dedication as both a practitioner and teacher, with numerous certifications, including Biofeedback Specialist.  In recent years she began dedicating more of her time teaching and passing on her knowledge and gifts to others. She very much enjoyed her time as part of the Restore and Revive Spa in Fort Worth, TX.

Tracie is survived by her loving husband, Michael Graves, of Granbury, her son, Jaden Torres Graves (the light of her life); mother, Chris Terry and husband Mike of Fort Worth; father, Jimmy Torres and wife Glynna, of Hico, TX; sister, Teri Torres Harper and husband Rob, nephew, Reed Harper and niece, Lilly Harper of Crested Butte, CO; and many wonderful friends.

Tracie was a wonderful wife and mother who enjoyed life to the fullest and had a passion for helping people find relief from injuries and chronic pain.  May she rest in peace and be a shining light for the loved ones she left behind. We love and miss you, Tracie Bear.

Due to the pandemic, there will be a private memorial and a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.

Tracie,
Your star's still shining bright...
I saw it just the other night
It's been up there now a year,
As we below still shed a tear.
Then smile as we recall your light
And savor the time we shared.

After a year has gone by, we miss you and think of you daily. Your many friends who we see continue to share their thoughts about all of our time with you. I still reflect on the many things I learned from you and continue to build on them. This is still hard, but I know you're in a good place.

Until we meet again ...

Not enough I can say about this beautiful human being. She was like a sister to me. I learned so much from Tracie and was lucky enough to also receive her love and support. Because of "time and space" constraints (too little time, too much space), visits from Tracie's extended Canadian family were few. We always remember her cheerful ways and warm smile. I fondly recall Michael and Tracie's love of the stars and planets. A new star graces the heavens...Rest in Peace, Tracie!

Tracie's smile was infectious! You couldn't help but smile back. She was warm and loving to all and she never met a stranger. God needed an Angel, so he called Tracie home.

celebration memory

Ten years ago, the family gathered to celebrate my 60th birthday at a local restaurant.  There was lots of eating, drinking, laughing, and joking.  In the midst of all the fun, my sister's grandson, then 2 years old, crawled under the table and bit Jaden on the leg.    You can imagine Jaden's surprise at being attacked by an unseen assailant.       It caused quite a bit of commotion; anguish for Jaden and embarrassment for my sister.   Years later, it is now funny.   Here's a picture of Tracie giving Jaden comfort,
