Steve,my friend,my brother. I will always cherish the memories with you. Whether we were playing music, or just hanging out. I am so glad you got to play music again after so much time off. Me, you, and Dan, had been playing for a few months and got really tight. I am so proud of how you turned things around in your life. You loved your family, and they love you so much. Fly high my brother and rest in peace. Heaven is a little brighter now. I'll see you on the other side.

Steve my friend love u and miss you
Steve had a heart of gold almays smiling always upbeat and always a great friend. I met Steve in High scool and the next day we were setting up guitar and bass equipment in the laundry room at his house with all our friends squeezed in also. Just to hear us play. We went on to play in several bands and drifted away and we both kept playing. Steve became one of the best to play the bass around dayton. He had the finger technique down better than most. And he still had that talent recently in Twizted, his new band. We said we loved each other everytime we talked on the phone cause we meant it. Lifelong friends. He was a great family man loved his family.
Steve will never be forgotten.
RIP Snake

To my little brother

I would like to say a few things about my brother.   I've known Steven ever since he's been a young man.  He's been a very near and dear friend to me. He sometimes did some silly things, but who in the hell doesn't in life?  I loved him, he was my family.  My wife and I miss him dearly and I wanted to let you know Steve,  that now I know you're in a better place. I love you. I'll see you on the other side

I knew him as Steve or Snake. He and I set records for pipe installation at Kelchner that will remain forever. We were friends as well and he often got himself into trouble with his then wife Kay when we got rained out and went bar hopping. He had his heart attack back then and I was VERY happy when he recovered and came back to work with us so we could go back to putting up big numbers again. We lost touch when he left Kelchner and I am saddened at his passing. I wish his family the best
