Obituary

Travis Eugene Hall Jr, 59, was born on May 23rd, 1960 to Violet Jeannette Hyde Green and Travis Eugene Hall Sr.

Travis ‘Gene’ was a devout Christian, a Jack of All Trades, a Master Adviser, and an all around fun-loving guy. He was known for having a jolly disposition and a smile that could light up a room. Gene started his adulthood by serving his country in the U.S. Army and quickly promoted to Staff Sergeant, Spec 4. During his service he received many medals and awards such as Expert in multiple weapon platforms. His most fond memory while serving was protecting the Berlin Wall. His favorite hobbies were cheering on the Crimson Tide, fishing, traveling, playing guitar, building cars, and doting on his family. ROLL TIDE!

He was known most for his love of driving, completing his ultimate goal of being an owner and operator and leaving his legacy of Halls Trucking Company.

Gene went home to be with The Lord peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Violet Jeannette Hyde Green and Travis Eugene Hall Sr.; and his sister Tina Lewis, who passed shortly after him.

He leaves behind his wife-the Love of His Life, Suzette Hall; Two Daughters Magan (Alyssa) Hall and Jenn (Dewayne) Goodsen; three sons Jess Peoples, Jordan K.(Megan) Lacey and Travis Hall III; two sisters Patty (Ralph) Trent and Misty Hall; Two brothers Paul (Shelley) Green and Ricky Lewis; 9 Grandchildren, Preston and Abi Hall; Christian, Rylan, Alea and Kenslee Goodsen; Bentley and Grandbaby Lacey on the way; Dalton Hall. Gene had more family and friends than he could count and loved each one dearly; All held a special place in his heart.

Gene will continue living through his legacy and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
