Troy Osmond Myers

lovingly called T.O. or Troydon, was born May 30, 1979 in Guyana, South America to Claudette Hannibal and William Myers. He was his mother’s only child.

At the tender age of 5, Troy migrated to the United States of America to join his mother. While living in America, he attended Public School 193 where he received recognition for academic excellence.  He went on to middle school at Andries Hudde and later graduated from Midwood High School.  Troy continued his education at the University at Albany where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with a minor in Business.  After graduating, he was employed by the Research Foundation of the City of New York.  Currently, he was temporary employed at the New York University Langone Medical Center Administration Department and also as a Substitute teacher for the NYC Dept. of Education and during this time he attended classes towards his Masters Degree in Education.  One of his dreams was to be a New York City Police Officer.

Troy loved life and was a very sociable person. He enjoyed being among his family and friends and was delighted to speak about his Christian values.  He was well grounded in the principles of the bible and tried his best to live by these principles.  This allowed him to make a difference in the lives of the people he met along the way.
