I have so many "just me and Trudy" memories..........recognizing special qualities in so many Woodbridger's..........so many giggles, and tears. Never forgotten.

Dear Trudy,
now that I have retired from Woodbridge, after 42 years, I treasure those times that now are memories. Those years were a commitment to providing the very best of an enriching experience for the many thousands of children that skipped through Woodbridge doors. From the very first day that you began your incredible journey with Woodbridge, you were recognized as being a special refuge with open arms for children,.....with, of course, a twinkle in your beautiful eyes. Trudy was so many things to so many people. But to me, I always remember her as being comfort. As a young child, she was a safe, loving grandmother figure to me. She spoiled all of us at Woodbridge and we loved her so very much. When I got older, Trudy was still the same loving person but also a friend who had a wonderful sense of humor and made everyone smile. Trudy and my mom had a very special bond. My mom loved her so and Trudy was a source of comfort for me when my mom passed away. I am so thankful to have had Trudy as a friend and as special part of my life.

Once. upon a time there was a special place where Trudy found a home away from home. Woodbridge Children's Center, who welcomed Trudy to participate in building this home away from home for the thousands of children , who, as Woodbridgers, found all of the amazing love and caring that Trudy's big heart for children awaited them. Throughout all of her years with Woodbridge, her caring nature extended to all of her fellow staff, and was especially recognized as a part of every family that she welcomed daily.
Trudy's long life was well spent, and I know that all who had the privilege of spending time with her, treasure many memories as very special.
