I was lucky to meet Valerie through Julia, over 25 years ago. Valerie struck me instantly as a very warm, quietly strong lady, who thrived from the joy of seeing the ones around her happy. Over the years, that first impression never vanished and I am grateful for the lovely moments I was allowed to share with her and Mike, in London a long time ago now, as well as over the years at family events. I will always remember Valerie for her beautiful smile and quiet joie de vivre.
My deepest condolences go to Mike, Louise and Julia and their families.

Many fond and fun memories of times with Val at different Bell-Wilson family get togethers. A lovely, kind and gentle lady who will be sadly missed by everyone. Deepest condolences to all the family.

To my beautiful mother, a loving, compassionate and caring woman who always put others ahead of herself. A wonderful role model for me and for my boys, you helped me grow in confidence as a mother, supporting me when they were born, and always caring for Charlie and Freddie as if they were your own. You shall always be a bright light in our lives and an angel watching over us.
