Valerie Judd

Beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Valerie Judd, age 55, passed away on October 2, 2015 in American Fork, Utah.  She was born May 30, 1960 in Heber City, Utah to Gary Ball and Kathryn Rasband Judd.

From birth, Valerie was a special person with a natural strength and determination, undeveloped by most.  She loved all things soft and beautiful.  She loved watching ballroom dancing, ice skating, and gymnastics.  She also loved listening to Elvis.  Unable to communicate like others, she still found ways to express exactly what she wanted and how she felt.  Her face lit up whenever her parents or favorite friends visited.

She is survived by her parents, Gary & Kathryn Judd; siblings:  Kristine (Scott) Ireland, Angela (Rick) Johnson, Suzanne (James) Borgquist, Lincoln (Kacey) Judd,  their children, and grandchildren.

Her parents and siblings would like to express their gratitude to all of those who cared for Valerie these many years at the Utah State Developmental Center.  You were her family and her world.  Thank you.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Utah State Developmental Center Chapel, 895 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah. Interment at Holladay Memorial Park,Holladay, Utah.
