Mr. Vasile Molnar died unexpectedly but peacefully at Humber River General Hospital on Thursday August 25 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 56 after battling ten long months with cancer.

Vasile is survived by his mother; Ana, wife; Vasilica, daughter; Roxana, and siblings; Maria, Angela and Lituca-Lia.

Vasile was born on March 21st, 1960 in Baba Novac, Satu Mare, Romania to Ana Molnar and Florian Lingurar. He devoted his passion to traveling and moved to Canada in 1988. Vasile married Vasilica Grigoroiu, his true love, in Romania in 2003. After moving to Manitoba, and later to Ontario, Vasile began his life-long career as a truck driver for cross-border transportation, fullfilling his love of travel across both the United States and Canada. His family remembers him as a kind, compassionate and strong man who encouraged them to fight for what is right and help those who are in need.

Vasile was an accomplished engineer, and often took the time to fix what was considered to be broken beyond repair. He was a witty individual who loved a good joke and who was passionate about dancing at every formal gathering. He was an active and dedicated camping man and often took the time to travel far in hopes of finding a unique and challenging fishing spot.

A funeral visitation is scheduled for Tuesday September 6th for 10:00AM at St. John's Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas St. E in Mississauga, followed by procession and burial at Meadowvale Cemetery for 1:00PM, 7732 Mavis Rd. in Brampton. Priest Florian Ene will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend, and celebrate Vasile’s life.
