OBITUARY

Velma Peterson was born April 21,1959 to Earnestine Talley. She graduated from Jackson-Olin High School in 1978 and gave birth to her one and only daughter. She also married a wonderful man, who she loved and cherished until she was called home. She was employed at Birmingham Nursing Rehabilitation until she was unable to continue due to health reasons. She has a personality that everyone loved dearly. Velma was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in 2014. Velma did not let that or nothing else stop her from smiling and being the best wife, mom, and grandma anyone could ask for. Velma lost her sister Valeria (Valera) Davis on her birthday 04/21/2021 and brother Kenneth Bibb years before.

Velma leaves behind a loving husband Eddie Peterson Jr., daughter Aisha Peterson-Miller (Donald Miller Jr.), two beautiful granddaughters Jariuana Peterson and Jaimi Miller, two handsome grandsons Aidon Miller and Adonis Miller, her loving sisters Bernice Bibb and Debra Montgomery, and a host of nieces and nephews. Velma will truly be missed but the love for her will continue.
