Thank you Grandma, for making us all happy. Especially during those periods of time when I was younger, you would always love and also care for me. I’d also like to thank you for making my family. And for making me smile and most importantly, thank you for being such a beautiful person.
Mam, Thank you so much for your kindness and the warm way you welcomed me into the family. You opened yourself not just to me but my family. Most of all thank you for sharing your precious son Sam with me. He is who he is because of you. He is kind, caring , loving, thoughtful, an awesome father and husband. You can never be replaced, and I know he misses you so much. I promise to take care of him and love him. We will share your memories with Mikhail and Alexei. Continue to rest in the presence of the almighty, till we meet again. xxx
IN TRIBUTE TO LATE, MRS, VERA EZOMO. Mum, like we all call you, the hard to believe news of your departure came to me the very early morning you were called home by your creator. My consolation is that the book of Ecclesiastics chapter 12 Says,” For everything there is a season; a time to be born and a time to die”. While in Benin then, an Arc. Bishop’s cassette was played on his burial, it was titled the benefit of Death, which is to say, no more sickness, no more pain. I dare to say, you lived a fulfilled life by the way and manner you impacted other people’s lives. You never left anyone the same way such met you. I am one of such examples, while as a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Edo State in the 90s, on my way back to the commandant S and T Quarter were I lived, on a bright sunny day was an oyibo woman I dared to greet in Russian language but refused to respond immediately because we have not met before that day. After a brief intelligent questions were asked to clear her doubts as to who I was, she obliged to speak to her husband for me to pack to her family residence and stay with them. She used her little pension in supporting me. There was no dull moment with her. I was introduced to people like prof.Engr.Edeko Fred, Prof.Barr.Stanley Orobator, to mention but a few. I came with a Degree in Russian language from University of Ibadan (U.I) but left with an M.Sc. in International Relations from Uniben, all because of her encouragement and support. Indeed, I am eternally grateful. My 1st mother until she passed on in the month of March, 2022 had always asked after you in appreciation for everything you did for me. The two of you left me as an orphan about the same time but I know that your wishes and prayers will see me through by his Grace. Mum, I have many things to say but words fail me. All I have to say now is, THANK YOU. Your impact is left in me memorably and I am forever grateful. I love you so much and I miss you much but God loves you the most. May your generous soul continue to rest in peace.

TRIBUTE To MOMMY VERA. Mommy, though we did not know or live very closely with you for long, we can testify that even as a maiden you were fond of taking very genuine and effective decisions in life. One of which is what links our families and countries together. Though we physically miss you now, but your memories shall ever fresh in our hearts. May God grant your soul eternal rest. ADIEU.
You were the closest person to me - kind, pure and fair. I have always kept you close to my heart, even when you were far away. I'm sad to see you gone, but you will always be there with me. I miss you.
