Don't be sad, although that may be hard to do if you are visiting this website. I know Moma is not sad, not one bit so let's just keep it moving. It won't be long until we see her again.

I will always remember my first experience seeing the power of God. As a young christian (saved for only a couple of weeks). I had just received a new job offer and was required to purchase my own uniform for work. I had no money. I sought help from family, and friends; but no one was able to help. I asked Ma for help and explained that if I couldn't purchase my uniform I would have to decline the position. She immediately told me to ask my Heavenly Father for the money I needed.

I honestly didn't fully understand what she meant or how it would work. She shared how God would undoubtedly provide all my needs, because he promised it in his Word. She explained how I only needed to ask. I did as Momma said and asked God in prayer. A couple of days later the mail came and there was a check in my name from the IRS for more than enough for me to buy my uniform.

Praise God.... I was absolutely amazed! This was my very first personal experience seeing the power of prayer.

Thanks to Mom this was just the start of my journey toward learning what is means to truly trust God. Regardless of the circumstances I know I have a Heavenly Father who sees and cares.

Playing hooky at McDonalds

November 21, 2013

During our high school years Lisa (my sister) and I were headed down the wrong road. It was a mother's intuition which kept us on track. We lived behind the Mc Donald's on Marlboro pike. One day we decided to cut school early and hang out with our friends at Mc Donald's. There we sat smoking cigarettes and drink Pepsi, when Momma walked in. She never, ever, ever, walked to McDonalds!! There she was and we were caught red handed. Busted and disgusted we could not figure out how Momma knew that day, at that time we were cutting school, and especially how she knew we were there. I later asked her WHY, why.... did she walk to the McDonalds in the middle of the day and she said cause God told her to.
