Love and Miss you so much Daddy. I still find it very hard not betting able to pick up the phone and call you or see you or getting a call from you just to say he loved us. I miss the calls from the festivals with him saying"listen to the guns or cannon" etc.  I miss going to Holden Beach with him and getting up early to hunt for sand dollars and him getting frustrated bc I would find one before him lol I guess I just miss everything. He was the best dad. I feel for people who do not get to experience the love from a wonderful father. He was the best...best husband, son, father, brother, uncle, friend to all who knew him. He is missed so much. I only wish that he knew how much he meant while he was here on earth. Love u Daddy

Uncle Vernon, What can I say about this man. Well to start he was kind, understanding, patience of a saint. He wasn't my blood uncle, but I loved him like he was. He will be missed my me and Jimmy. I pray we will all be together again someday. God Bless!
